Common questions
What kind of document can actually be translated in 4 hours?
Any Portuguese document up to 10 pages qualifies for the automatic 4-hour rush, and one page counts as up to 250 words. Short civil records like a birth certificate, a marriage certificate, or a police certificate usually fit inside that. The type of document does not change the rush price, only the page count does.
If I order late at night, will I still get it in 4 hours?
Not always, since we are a husband and wife team in Florida and a document sent in the middle of the night is picked up when we are back at work. If the timing is tight, message us on WhatsApp at +1 405 850 0892 before you order. Standard delivery is within 24 hours, so a document that misses the rush window is still back with you the next day.
Is the $9 rush fee per page or per order?
Per page, on top of the $19 page rate. A rushed 3-page document is $28 a page, so $84 in total, and the price calculator shows your exact number before you pay. You do not need an account or a card to see it.
Does a rush translation skip anything, like stamps or the back of the page?
No. A rush order is the complete document: stamps, seals, marginal notes (averbações), and the back side of the page. Ivy signs the same Certificate of Accuracy on a rush job that she signs on every other order. You get the same file you would get on standard delivery, just sooner.
Can you rush a document longer than 10 pages?
Not at the automatic rush price. Over 10 pages we quote the job by hand and tell you the turnaround we can offer. Watch the word count too, because one page is up to 250 words, so a dense academic transcript can bill as more pages than it has sheets. Past 100 pages the calculator shows the full rate and a person confirms the bulk price before you are charged.
