The page price is rarely the whole receipt. Around the market you will find rush fees of $12 to $14.95 per page, notarization at around $19.95 even though USCIS does not require notarization, proofreading fees, and $14.95 to $20 to mail a paper copy. Quality tiers are the same trick in reverse: when a company sells a $25 page and a $45 page, it is telling you the $25 one is worse. We sell one tier, the one we would file ourselves.

Why do some companies charge $10 to $20 more per page?
Bigger overhead and add-on pricing. Several competitors charge separately for things we include or that USCIS does not require: rush fees of $12 to $14.95 per page, notarization around $19.95 that USCIS does not ask for, and mailing fees of $14.95 to $20. Their base page price is only the start of the receipt.
How do per-word prices compare to per-page prices?
A translation page is up to 250 words, so $0.10 to $0.12 per word works out to $25 to $30 per page, before any certification or rush fees. Per-word quotes look small until you multiply them out. With a flat page rate you can do the math in your head.
Does a cheaper translation risk a USCIS rejection?
Price does not decide acceptance, the certification and the completeness do. USCIS checks that the translation is complete and accurate and that the certification is signed, per the USCIS translation requirements. If USCIS rejects a translation because of our work, we correct it free within 24 hours or refund the order in full.
